This typeface is a self-initiated continuation

of the ONEDEKO identity I worked on at Imagist design studio in London. I expanded on the letter forms from the logotype to create a basic character set. The typeface

is an uppercase condensed display face

with slight rounding to hint at curves whilst remaining fundamentally a severe, rectangular type.

The typeface is based on the architectural lettering found on Rationalist era buildings

in Italy built in the period from the early 1920's until the 1940's. The typeface can work well for signage, advertising, identity and inscriptions. It has an urban feel with a mediterranean flavour.
